Last White Wednesday for 2009!

Several months ago, I posted about my dilema with my green stepback cupboard.  I just didn't like it with the tv, and was considering painting it....Well, when it came right down to it, I just couldn't paint the piece.  So I called my friend Shelley, Sweet Pea, and asked what she might have that would work....much better, don't you think.  The top of the cupboard is zinc with a zinc drawer...I just love it!

So then, I saw this hanging cupboard  last month at the antique show in Mt. Dora (in Shelly's beautiful booth), imagine that?  Well, hubby & son tried to hang it (big mistake)...so I patiently waited, and finally he called Rex, aka Mr. Sweet Pea, who graciously came over and hung it in no time flat!  Also gave us an opportunity to visit and catch up on things!

Now, I just need to fill it up!  Hummmm, might need a new collection of something...nothing's happening yet!  Any suggestions?

Many thanks to our hostess for White Wednesday Kathleen for the opportunity to show our beloved whites!

Blessings!
Susie

  2. I love your new cupboard especially with the zinc. Also the one you put on the wall and your sign. Everything in your home is 2die4.

Thanks for showing us and Happy 2010!

  4. Susie, collect what ever your heart desires...well and that you can afford *wink*

pewter and tin items that would match the zinc drawer would be one idea.

  5. How cool that you live so close to Shelley...i love her taste too. I think what ever you decide it'll be great. Love all the changes!
I have to ask you where did you find the white candy canes. Paula has some too but she bought them years ago. I guess when they first came out they were not red and white like we see them now.
    Happy New Year!

  6. Hi Susie,
Your home is so lovely. I feel welcome here already. I'm a little envious that you live near enough to Shelley to purchase some of her awesome pieces. She is such an inspiration to me. I love both pieces you have here. I'm sure whatever you do with the wall cabinet will be wonderful because you have great taste.
    hugs
