Vintage Christmas Monday

Thank you Joan at Anything Goes Here  for hosting Vintage Christmas Monday.  It has been so much fun visiting all the blogs and admiring the many wonderous vintage Christmas items.  Here are a few books I have collected over the years.

I had almost forgotten about my antique Christmas Books until I went searching for something to post for Vintage Monday. The first two books are in pretty bad shape, but I do so love the graphics and the wonderful sepia tone of the pages!

This book completely fell apart when I pulled it out of my cupboard this year.  The pages are so brittle, they just crumble!  I still love the graphics, and guess I should scan some of them for better clarity.  The book dates to the late 1800's.

Fa la la la la...la la la la!!!!

  4. Hi Susie, your old books are just wonderful! I collect them also, and they are such a joy to see all the old graphics. Loved your post on the swap, and the hanging bird feeder with the apple and cranberries, what a great idea. Blomstervrktad is such a lovely blog!
Hope you are having a wonderful week!

  5. Oh I love your books! I forgot about mine. I'll dig them out and post them next week. I tried to be more simple this year and look what happens. I have to go back and get that stuff out anyway.
    Happy Holidays to you.

  6. I love your vintage books. I'm a vintage book collector too. I love all the graphics in them. Maybe you could frame some of the better graphics from your old book that is falling apart, that way you could display them.
    Blessings,
    Marcia
