White Wednesday ~~ For The Birds

My camera battery is dead and won't recharge, so I've gone to the 'vault' for pics of some of my birdhouses.  Some are possibly repeat pictures, but never shown as a whole collection.  Spring is in the air and the birds are surely happy!

Do Ya Ever Feel This Way?

Nobody loves me

Nobody cares for me

I'm goin to the garden
To eat some worms

Big fat squiggly worms

Small thin wriggly worms

I'm goin to the garden

To eat some worms....

Where's The Kitty?

I've been organizing my pictures and made an "Annie Britt" folder. So, of course, I thought I'd share a few pics.....she's always changing her 'hangouts'!  Of course, now that we have the D O G, she doesn't come inside very often.  They haven't exactly made 'friends' yet.

Right, smack dab on top of my parsley!

I'm sure they'll be friends before too long?!  Duke is willing....Annie Britt...not so much!

~White Wednesday -- More Vintage White Metals

Last week, I posted pics of white metal objects in the garden.  Today, I've come inside!

My first 2 initials....I have another S, M and T on the way...found on Vantage Studio's Etsy Store!  Check out their other wonderful letters and numbers for sale.

'Creamy white' antique tole bowl.  Pretty enough by itself, or filled with goodies!

Vintage Locker Baskets and white wire shelf

Wonderful white hooks on an antique peg rack

Vintage honey jar

Antique Lamp...one of my favs!

Okay, so this is not white metal, but I wanted to share my little 'craft' project!
I made several bird nests out of Jasmine Vine. It's very flexible and easy to work with. I leave some of the leaves on, as they will stay green!

This is Kathleen's 40th White Wednesday!  Be sure to stop by and check out all of the Wonderful Whites!

First Day of Spring ~ In The Garden

Ahh.......The First Day of Spring!  I couldn't resist these beautiful branchs from my neighbor's Red Bud tree.  I walked over with three bunches of fresh asparagus (see below) and my clippers!

~ What says Spring more than a bunch of fresh asparagus ~

My church was giving away cases of these beautiful veggies yesterday!  Guess I'll be visiting a few more neighbors today!

"For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things

that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness

and praise to spring forth before all the nations."

White Wednesday ~ Mirrors and Images

I've been hunting for some new mirrors...here's a few pics.  Of course, they are so difficult to photograph!

I actually found three of these mirrors.  The frames are metal (quite heavy too) and the mirrors are beveled.  Each one is just a little different too!

One year a friend was taking 'profile' pictures all the gals (we meet just before Christmas every year for a fun gathering and gift exchange).  This was our gift the following year...pretty cool!

Thanks once again to Kathleen for hosting White Wedneday.  Be sure to stop by for links to many more wonderful white wonders!
