~SIGNS~
This was my very first antique sign. I lived on Cherry Apple Circle!
When I walked into an antique shop many years ago and saw this sign...I knew immediately that I had to have it...You see I love antique signs, I love gardening, and my Grandfather's name was Winfield. I also gave my son Winfield as his middle name in loving memory of my Grandaddy Winfield Scott!
~AND WONDERS~
My folk art 'garden angel'
I think this 'zinc' piece looks like angel wings, don't you think?
This is my favorite picure of my mother. She passed away in Feburary at the age of 87. I sure do miss her!
Great sign collection! I love the picture of your mother....she looks so happy!

Oh Susie I love the picture of your mother!
ReplyDeleteI think that sign with your grandfathers name had to be more than coincidence. What a wonderful thing to have gotten that for your collection.
Hugs,

Susie,
ReplyDeleteI love the picture of your mother. It reminds me of one of my favorite movies, Paper Moon. I lost my mother 2 years ago, she was only 61. The pain never goes away. Lisa
