Okay, so I'm out visiting my veggie garden, as I do each day, to see what maybe grew some since the day before...and I'm so delighted with my first tomato and decide to take a picture! Yea, I CAN grow veggies in the fall! So, Saturday, my friend stopped by and I
just had to take her on the garden expedition. WHERE'S MY TOMATO???? A squirrel, perhaps, or maybe a possum? I DUN KNOW!
I planted these two collard plants, which were the same size, on the same day. What happened?
I do have 3 okra!
Well, this pics's not too clear...but hubby pulled all the weeds and dead stuff out of the flowers beds today. What a guy!
AND
My Black Eyed Susan Vine is really pretty right now!
Aw....I think I'm jealous. My gardens are brown and crispy, with several freezing nights under our belts. Not jealous of all the work...just the fresh tomatoes!
ReplyDeleteI planted tomato plants this past summer and only got one but a worm got to before I did! All my hard work for nothing.
ReplyDeleteSniff, sniff, I'm a little bit jealous that you are gardening when the season is completely over for me and all I have to look forward to is a looooong, cold winter. That's one of the reasons I throw myself into Christmas...the beauty of the season gets me thru at least part of the winter!
