White Wednesday in my Studio/Office

I would first like to take this opportunity to thank all of our Veterans as we set aside this special day to honor all of those who have served our country.  This is a picture of my favorite Veteran, my Daddy, who was a very proud  Marine, and served  in World War II.  Thanks, Daddy, and I miss you dearly!  Sus

Now back to WW...I was kinda running out of white stuff for White Wednesday, so I broke down and sort of straightened up my white cupboard in my office/studio.  My husband and I were on a buying trip quite a few years back in Charlotte, NC when we saw this cupboard in a shop.  The owner told us it was only a display piece and that we probably wouldn't want it because of it's condition.  Long story short, $75.00 cash did the trick.  Oh, I've been offered more, but it would  be too hard to replace.  After all, in my 'fantasy life' this piece is in the potting shed full of old pots, garden tools and plants!

This is the "holds all" cupboard!

Lots o' storage

The Other Cupboard

As for this cupboard, I would absolutely never let you see the inside of it....well maybe someday if I get around to organizing all the 'goodies' inside!

I do have a desk in the office, but right now everything that I took off of the cupboard to take the pics is on the table.....maybe next week!  See what I mean...

Til then...Happy White Wednesday to all......and be sure to head on over to visit Kathleen at Faded Charm,   our awesome hostess for WW, and check out her whites and many more participants!

  2. Susie I love the old white chippy cabinets. Ahh chippiness gets me every time and if it is white chippy - well I am a goner.
I noticed on another blog you liked the Heather Chadduck light in the kitchen photo and wanted to do one for yourself. I did one for my craft studio - it was pretty easy.
    Take a look at it:
