Saying Goodbye To My Red, White & Blue

I'm redecorating my guest room/Grandson's room, and I'm hoping to sell the antique cannonball,  3/4 rope bed.  I've had this bed over 25 was my son's first 'big boy' bed.  It's seen many different bedding combinations from cars and Sponge Bob, but I think the current one is my favorite.  I was going for the Ralph Lauren layered bedding which he does so brilliantly. (I never did finish the curtains...oh well!)  So now it's time for a change.  I have the ensemble listed on Craigslist, but no response so far.  I just think this would be perfect for another sweet little boy!

I just recently found these wonderful Ikea curtain panels at the thrift store.  The cotton fabric has an amazing weight and feel.

My collection of vintage flags....I will keep these!

I painted this back in the day.......not sure why I don't paint any more?

So, as I say good-bye to an old friend,  I am ready for the change.
Here's a little 'sneak peak'.

  1. Our master bedroom was red, white, and blue for years-I just love the color combo. I'm sure it will sell to the right person!

  2. Susie, I love the new colors. Can't wait to see more. Happy weekend!! Theresa,Garden Antqs Vintage
