23 Weeks Just Wasn't Enough Time


My Grandson, Jacob, was born prematurely today at 11:22 am.

He weighed 1 lb. 3 oz.

He went home to be with our Heavenly Father at 1:07 pm.

I thank God for His peace and comfort.

    I am so so sorry for your loss and for his parents loss. There is nothing worse than the death of a child. Your family will be in my prayers.

    Susie- I have been through this with one of own children and it is the saddest thing in the world. You tell those parents to grieve their hearts out because there will be people saying things like..."well, at least you didn't really get to KNOW the baby"...and "maybe it's a blessing because the baby might have had problems"..and"well, now you have someone in Heaven waiting for you"etc. It made me just want to scream...WE WANT OUR BABY HERE!!! You just wrap them in love and let them feel everything they need to feel. As the grandmother, it is hard too, because you feel like you need to be the strong one for them...and you will be...but allow yourself to grieve too.
