What Would You Do?

Just curious!
If you were looking thru Craigslist for Antiques and/or Garage Sales and saw an ad with the following pictures, what would you do?

One person.....one......who saw my ad came to my sale.  She was so sweet and excited.....said she could hardly sleep last night!  Thanks Dana.....A Kindred Spirit, and what an adorable and helpful husband too!

I would have thought I'd hit the jackpot!.
Oh well.....a few people stopped because they saw my signs.
I had fun and met a couple of new friends, any how!

What would you do?
Just curious!

  33. Sleeping on your doorstep! I would love to have shopped, I'm certain that round bird house would have come home with me. My daughters and I are having a huge blowout garage sale this weekend in San Antonio, Texas to raise spending money for Brimfield in May. Hope we do well.

  34. I still can barely sleep :) I got home on Saturday afternoon and did a major re-arrange! So wonderful to meet you and thank you for letting go of some things so I could find them. Loved meeting you and look forward to keeping up with your blog.

  35. I would've actually gotten up EARLY for that! My only thought as to why nobody would've shown up is that maybe they just assumed that because it all looked so fabulous that the prices were going to be high...there are a lot of cheapos that look at Craigslist and only look for dirt cheap items regardless of their beauty...I am proud to say that I am NOT one of those people! I would have bought it all LOL

  36. OH MY GOSH! I would have gone over to my friend and had him drive me over to your garage sale with his largest truck! Why oh why can't there be someone like you in my neck of the woods! I'm so jealous of the women who went to your garage sale!!!

  37. Susie,
All I can say is, PLEASE put this stuff on your etsy! I will buy up half of it. I wish I'd been there, you'd be rich. I'm planning a big sale the end of the month. I have a storage unit & 2 attics & I've finally come to realize I am not going to do anything with it so it must go. I'm thinking of talking it up on my blog & putting in craigslist but I'm worried. Hate to haul it all back to storage if it doesn't sell but it's not going to good will.
PS Did you sell the rug? Lisa

  38. Wow! I would rush right over because I am only 20 minutes from you, and I LOVE it all!!! I don't usually go on Craig's list, though! I would love to come look one day and meet you! I have been blogging for going on 3 years, but recently switched blogs, and I have an Etsy shop that opened last September. Looks like we love the same stuff! My hubby works in Altamonte!

    Have a great day!
