Tomorrow morning at 6:30 I will be at the hospital to have my "port" removed. It's like the final part of the cancer will be just a memory. I'm feeling a bit anxious this afternoon, but it's gonna be okay. Basically the surgery is simple and they will only be putting me in "Twilight" mode....hummm...sounds good!
This picture sorta looks like my Doctor!
She's amazing!
All prayers and positive thoughts are appreciated.
Blessings,
Susie

Susie- Port removal-Not so bad!! I am saying a prayer for you though. I think you know I work in a hospital and I KNOW that every single person coming through that door is scared on some level. Even me...I get scared when I see someone that can't be helped...or someone in pain...or someone who is too tired to fight.
ReplyDeleteYou have done a good job and I am so proud of you for going through this with the attitude that you have had. You had tired days, good days, bad days but you were always sweet. I am always glad to see your name pop up on my sidebar cuz then I know you must be having a pretty good day. Hang in there- the worst is over...now you have to enjoy your Summer!
I used to live in Ft. Myers, FL. and the company I worked for had big projects going on in Altamonte Springs and I went up there many times...so I kind of feel connected to you from afar! xxoo Diana
you are in the home stretch my friend, i just know it! prayers for you going up and looking forward to you getting back to your old self.
