Falling For White Wednesday

Quick Decorating
"Putting stuff together that you have available really fast"

I had purchased the bittersweet vine on Etsy a couple'a weeks ago.  This is the only 'orange' that will be in my Fall decor this year.  The crow is vintage paper mache'...my fav!
Check out the size of the sunflower head on the left! (Also an Etsy find).
I love this Audubon print of the crow.  I don't do 'halloween', but I do love crows!
"What is it?"
My collection of pumpkin stems under an old glass dome.  The base is a neat piece of hypertufa.

Just gotta get me some more white pumpkins....hope I can find 'em easily this year!
I'm linking up with Kathleen at Faded Charm for WW.

Our prayers are with her son as he heals from a broken leg.....so sad.

Blessings,
Susie

  1. You used to be able to find bittersweet everywhere-but not anymore. I've tried to start it-but it didn't work! Great fall white pics!

  3. Aren't you supposed to be resting?

You sure have accomplished quite a bit while "resting"..just be careful of on line shopping..it always feels like magic fairies bring the treasures to you and then the postman delivers the bill. :D

I also do not recommend HSN when Hungry, Lonely or Ticked OFF.. hehe

Best Wishes for good news next week.

  5. Oh- it is lovely-simply lovely. I thought you had a faux white pumpkin until you said you were able to dry it. Unbelievable!!

I'd say for being "down" from surgery you are doing pretty darned good...and if you like old crows we should get along real well. That's my friend's pet word..she calls me an old crow. I'm saying a prayer for you about your doctor's appt. next week, Susie. I don't know if you know it, or not, but I had a big scare myself about a month ago.

    Hugs to you today- Diana

  6. Great photos Susie! You were able to keep your pumpkin alive for that long? OMGosh....never knew that was possible! Cool!

Hope you are feeling better and getting rest! Thank goodness for the internet during recuperation, huh?!

    Take care,

    Polly

  7. Thank you so much for your kind words and concern. He is home now and hopefully will be on his way to a speedy recovery. It's so hard as a Mom to see your child in pain.

I'm so glad you are feeling better and many prayers for you to have a positive outcome with all of this. You just never know when your life will take an unexpected turn.

    Take care Susie.

    Best wishes,
    Kathleen
