Today, I planted tomatoes, peppers, okra, beans, white eggplant, collards and parsley. I was going to plant some seeds, but the Farmers Almanac said that seeds planted today would die! I am going to use this old fence as a trellis for the beans and tomatoes. Now I need to make some 'cute' markers for the veggies, so's I don't forget what I planted! Wish me luck, and hope my green thumb prevails!

VINTAGE GARDEN STUFF -- WHITE WEDNESDAY
It didn't take long after I fell in love with gardening and antiques to start collecting old and unique garden items for use in my garden and home. I love sharing my things with others and telling their stories. Here and below are a few wonderful white garden things that make my heart go pitter-patter.

This glue works great on pottery, concrete, metal, baskets, and so much more. When drying it expands so it fills in holes. I would suggest removing excess glue before it dries completely. FYI
This is an old silver 'bowl' glued to a wood base..The Gorilla Glue is the only glue that would hold it together.
My husband wanted to throw out this big old pot because it was broken in so many places, but I surely did fix it. I want to plant a lemon tree in it. I need to scrape off the glue and I may faux paint the pot white. What do you think?
